Rise Up! Community Song Circles

Ever wanted to join a choir without having to commit to weekly rehearsal?   Well, have I got an instant and magnificent choral experience for you!  Saturday afternoon harmony sing-alongs will return to Santa Cruz this fall, beginning September 24th 2022 @ 1:30.  Sliding scale $12-$20 single event ticket price. No one turned away due to finances.

I am excited to be able to return to in-person community choral singing this fall!  * Vax/booster proof is required; no exceptions.  Stand by for more info on easing of Covid payment and masking protocol; for now, I hope you will reserve the dates and plan to come and sing songs of hope, resilience, love, peace & justice from around the world in 2, 3 and 4-part harmony.  Come join me!

New events beginning in September 2022:

Saturday Sept 24 @ 1:30pm—“Remember When We Knew How to Do This?”   A reintroduction &  rededication to singing in community during a persistent pandemic.

Saturday, October 22 @ 1:30pm—“Bring the Choir!”  Simples songs, rounds & chants that get folks singing in harmony and enjoying it.

Saturday, Nov 5 @ 1:30pm–“Good Trouble!”–South African choral music that inspires people to keep on fighting for a better world.  This is an SATB choral workshop; you do not have to read music to participate.

Saturday, Dec 3 @ 1:30– “Stoking your ‘Imaginary Campfire.'”   Prepare for the coming winter nights with songs you can teach family, friends and neighbors to sing along on, including harmony parts.   Bring your guitar or ukelele if you want (not required); chord charts provided.

For more details and updates, check my website.   All tickets include song sheets.

**I am working on a way to make ticketing easier and am also attempting to get some ongoing funding to facilitate those who are financially strapped but want to sing on a regular basis.  I will be sending a detailed update asap.
